Skills?!

Hey Everyone

We're working on balancing out the skills system.  We made some too difficult to find and a bug is preventing at least one from showing up at all.   Just trying to get an idea of where the balance is at the moment.

What skills have you guys found?

I found these but I cannot use the first aid and Morse code. I started from scratch and still it’s unusable. What can I do?

I just got the cooking skill, but I don't know what to use it for...same with the science skill.

How did you all find cooking?

I have first aid, hacking, morse code and science. I still want to find the tens-code skill.

If I remember, the cooking skill is unlocked during the call of the kid who impaled himself on the fireplace poker. Play around with the lines of text until you get the right sequence.

I keep replaying the Salton Lane call and I'm still not getting it.

I’ve also played Salton lane soooo many times now, and I can’t seem to unlock it. I’ve learned so much about them now though!
Also, somehow by replaying the initial Morse code call, I lost my chance for the Morse code skill
EDIT: found cooking. @bubblegumbrainiac, check through a different call, similar to Salton lane

The cooking one isn’t there. It’s in an unexpected call. If I cannot remember but you have to just play all scenarios in each call to find it

The phone book is a decent one, between calls you can contact manager 13 and sometimes he/she offers the R.O.M (Resource-O-Matic) and you can gain a new resource like fire, police, or medic.

The cooking skill is in the kid with the kernel stuck in his nose.

Skill re-balancing is going well over here but definitely proving more difficult than anticipated - a few things were bugs, but others were story flow - there's still a bit that's inaccessible so now that most of the code bugs are out - it's making the story flow work.

I'll be keeping you guys updated as I fix skills that a new one is working!

As JamesSmith101 mentioned "Phone Book" is back on the table - though I'm still working out a few issues with how that side story flows.

Hacker is just about finished - I'm testing those out now.

I think that leaves one left which I'll leave as a mystery for now.

I am a little sad because once I updated to version 6 I lost all of my skills and now I cannot find the phonebook 😂 ... I felt accomplished when I found it ... I like starting over sometimes but I really miss harassing Manager 13 ...Someone wanna drop me a hint or tell me where it is 😂 ... either one is find but i prefer a hint ...

I got the first aid glitch again. The iResponder says I have it but my set of skills doesn’t show that.
