So, I’ve tried restarting clean, and nothing changes. It may be a bug, or maybe for some reason I’m getting an old call. Another thing I noticed is that whenever I did a call Center call, I was always given 2 Stars, no matter how well I succeeded. And when I closed the app, my ratings disappeared. Pretty weird. I’m probably going to move this to a Bug thread, since this was supposed to be for the skill, and I kinda took it on a tangent. Thanks guys!

Yeah. So, this is the problem:

You go to the noise complaint call and work it through until the last option. Before the beta, it was softblocked so it gave you a Temporarily Unavailible message. I’m still getting that message when I click on the option, even though I have the beta, and I don’t know what to do.

Bugs / Call Center Stars

So, I’ve been experimenting with the Call Center, and I noticed that no matter what outcome A I got, I always ended up with 2 stars. I’ve tried a bunch of different outcomes, and even when they say they’re giving me 5 Stars, I get 2. I don’t know if anyone else Ian having this problem. On a somewhat related note, I’m still having the Temporarily Unavailible message come up for the Noise Complaint come up, and I don’t know if it’s something with my phone, but I wanted to point it out anyway. Thanks!

For some reason, it’s still giving me the Temporarily Unavailible message... any ideas on how to fix this?

I’m getting the same problem. I was just added, so I would assume it’s the latest beta. No way to update on TestFlight. Still says Temporarily Unavailible. I’ve tried restarting the shift, restarting the app, restarting my phone, nothing works. Any suggestions?

Ack!!! That’s awesome! I’m to in the beta, so I can’t check that out yet, but be sure to go and run that against the ambulance call and use the skill. I’m excited to see where that goes. Good luck!

Other Issues/Questions / Re: Episode 2

It’s really up to Kyle to tell you the specifics, but Episode 2 is in the works and getting somewhat close to completed, and in order to get it early, you have to be invited to the beta. I haven’t gotten in yet, but in a future Beta update, they’ll release Shift 2 along with some other features. It’ll be buggy and stuff, but Betas are for fishing out the errors and things. Afterthought bugs get fixed, the team will release the shift to the public, as well as the new features such as the Call Center, Error: 612-11, and some other things. Good luck!

Yep, this should be unblocked! There may be a place or two past that point where the story misdirects so let me know if you spot any issues, but I think I got all the bugs out.

As of about a week ago all of the skills should be available in-game... actively working on Episode 2 and some cool new requested features like a portrait mode option.

Thanks everyone for playing and supporting... it means a lot - I'm super excited about where the game is going and y'all are all a huge help in that.

That’s great to hear! I’ve been really interested in figuring that out for a while, but seeing as I haven’t been able to get into the Beta, I guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer. I’ll try and steer away from spoilers on that one. Thanks so much!

For me it says that it’s temporarily unavailable. I saw a post by the mods that said the path activated a soft block and to my knowledge they haven’t fixed it. Do you have the beta, or is there a new update?

An interesting though, Kacophany, but that would make Manager 13 a benevolent being, which it is clearly not, after the elimination of the Complaint caller. You also have to be for some of the other seemingly evil actions Dispatch has committed, like the Cats, who have Dispatch collars, and the connection between the JoinDispatch terminal and the watchers. It is interesting to think that perhaps the roles in my previous theory are swapped, having the player as an AI and Manager as the human, but there are certainly some flaws. Thanks for the input though!

Weird. Since they’re not Mods, Im guessing trolls at work, but perhaps it’s a code. I doubt it though.

I don’t know if anyone here noticed, there is a thread with an actual way to get Martial Arts. I tried it out, and though I was skeptical, it worked. In the bear call, you have to send the cops, have the caller stay in the closet, reassure them that it is the right thing, and then when you can say “A Little Longer”, day it 11 times until you can say “Is it working?” Then you both learn Kung Fu. Pretty weird. He devs said there’s a lockup bug in the use, so they should sort that out.

Okay, I was really skeptical at first, but I just did it. After you tell them to stay in the closet after the police and reassure them, and they start saying “...”, say “A little longer” 11 times, and then you can say “Is it working?” And the caller learns King Fu and passes it on to you! Only 1 skill left, either communication something or wildlife saftey. But check it out.
