Hello Everyone!

Apologies for the very long delay... as I'd previously mentioned life took hold (and then there was a global pandemic?) but I'm finally in a place where I can pick back up and get Shift Two finished!

I'll be updating on progress here more consistently - and I'm aiming to release no later than this fall (though potentially sooner).  We're currently at about 10,000 words (Shift One was almost 70,000 for reference).

Sorry about that! This was a bug in the last version, if you update to the latest version it should open all of the calls back up!  Let me know if you're still having issues after the update and I'll be sure to get it fixed straight away.

Sorry for the lull! I've had some very time consuming deadlines for my job recently, been hard to find time, but I was just let go (after 10 years...).  :o

So now in this blessing/curse as I try to figure out what to do next, I've got a ton of time and effort to commit to JD... And for now JoinDispatch is currently my full-time job, so I am really hoping to get it out very soon, but I don't want to promise a date right now because I don't want to let anyone down! 

I'll update more as soon as I know more precisely when things are coming, I've unfortunately got quite a bit to figure in this transition period, but I am really excited about where everything is at and you won't be disappointed!

Thanks y'all! I just cranked up the security settings for the Captcha - it should be a lot tougher for a bot to read it - plus I added a human challenge question.

I also made the captcha a requirement to post - so hopefully that should help out!

If we're still running into issues after those changes, I'll turn the member approval back on.

If you're not on the iOS Beta already - Download Apple's "TestFlight" app from the AppStore and then follow this link:

There's limited space available now - but I'll be opening it up more in the near future!

If you're on Android - you can scroll down on the Play Store listing for JoinDispatch and opt-in to the Open Beta!

News / Update 1.19 (Released for iOS & Android!)

Hey everyone!

I've been hard at work on the new release - 1.19 - it includes many significant updates on the game side and the story side. I'll simplify here and if anyone on the beta is having ANY issues at all - please let me know -!

The main difference you'll see is the new Portrait mode orientation - this was a big request and a lot of work, but I think it's just about ready for prime-time.  The game is set to auto-rotate by default - and you can lock the auto-rotate at any time via the menu.

All of the story points that were blocked for episode one should be accessible - and all of the skills should be reachable, though I'm still working on a few balance issues.

The ratings should be more consistent, but this is still a work in progress!

Currently hard at work on episode 2 as well as the call center and its content - so look for some more defined updates about that later!

As always, thanks so much for playing and for your support, I never expected JoinDispatch to take off like it has, and though it's been a lot of work, it's all of you enjoying it that make it worthwhile.  Keep sending me your ideas, thoughts, suggestions, qualms, dislikes, likes, and anything else you can thing of to make the game better!

Yep, this should be unblocked! There may be a place or two past that point where the story misdirects so let me know if you spot any issues, but I think I got all the bugs out.

As of about a week ago all of the skills should be available in-game... actively working on Episode 2 and some cool new requested features like a portrait mode option.

Thanks everyone for playing and supporting... it means a lot - I'm super excited about where the game is going and y'all are all a huge help in that.

The Call Center was released in the last beta and is currently work in progress - it's a new play mode that will feature regularly updated unique calls that aren't part of a shift, it's a way to expand the JD universe more consistently and provide alternative methods of play outside of the full shift playthru. The calls take place in the JD world but aren't necessarily interconnected or narrative driven the way a shift is.  Now that the game engine is scaled and updated, and a lot of the major bugs are out I'm starting to refocus on content - finishing up the next shift and laying the groundwork for a more steady stream of stories - Let me know if you have any thoughts, feedback, ideas, etc...!
